PT Guest Speaker

The PT guest speaker, Doug Wiesner, was absolutely amazing. It was really great to be able to have the option to have an interactive speaker. He was very good about getting everyone up and moving, and was actively watching people to see what bad behaviors he could potentially fix. With Lily he saw how her foot over-pronates and gave her multiple exercises to help and strengthen the outer ankle ligaments as well as the inner. He also had Clayton and other people with sports and activities get up and move around a little.

For me, the experience was really cool because I was one of the people to get up and demonstrate different things. He had me do a couple moves and from there he showed me exactly what was going wrong and different exercises to correct it. What was really cool about it, is I've actually been to a PT twice now for hip problems, and both times they said the same thing as Doug did. That really showed me that he knew exactly what he was doing, and showed me that he had a plan to help me in my specific injuries. Overall, the experience was really cool and I'd love to do it again.
